    The album originally recorded on tape is now back on tape for this experimental march release. "Gold Teacher" is the second release from Houston based experimental group Goldchilde. While their first record was very much a garage punk record similar to that of the classic sludge of the Galveston Bay, "Gold Teacher" harks to the early Houston art rock scene of the late 70's and early 90's. While there are a couple of the punk styling tracks that we are used to from the group, this record approaches them with a fluid feeling. The whole record feels like a giant sound collage and combines many different styles including harsh noise, ambient, and drone. The record has a clear compositional quality yet the live tape manipulation elements show it's clear improvisational performance approach.

    Each tape is dubbed at normal speed from digital playback into stereo decks to ensure highest possible audio quality. All tapes are made by hand via the Banana Tapes crew. Edition of 25 with Banana Tapes only selling 5 copies online. Only available while supplies last.
